Additional information
Positive aspects of school
I liked the atmosphere, almost family like. The school building and the yard look absolutely fantastic in the summer. I liked coffee/tea facilities. I liked the fact that the students can just easily talk to tutors, and the tutors were friendly and engaging. Teaching methods were good I thought.
Negative aspects
Some rooms were too hot, air conditioning was not efficient. Classes probably were too big up to 12 students. I would prefer smaller groups.
City/place
I loved Biarritz, location, the ocean, the coastal line, the history, everything, food, shopping, cinema, theatre, surfing-I tried everything. I am going to go back there.

Positive aspects of school
The students and teachers were as friendly as their families. The break time and lunchtime were all spent on the terrace, which led to an improvement in French. It was great that all the teachers knew each and every one. And I liked it because I liked the well-balanced class matched to the students, as well as the grammar statements.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
It is a wonderful school. The teachers are very interested in Japan, and they see each one's personal effort. They are really kind and friendly, so you can ask for personal advice. It is a school where you feel at home while learning French.
Other comments
It was nice that there was surfing for the afternoon class. There are free coffee and tea, so it was a very satisfying school.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
One of the world's best surf sites is really the big advantage of Biarritz. The town is great and beside good clubs and nice restaurants, it offers some cultural activities (e.g. exhibitions, music festivals,...). But the season is definitely over by the end of September.
Other comments
As I already took a French class once in Montpellier I had something to compare with. So what was poor in this school in Biarritz is that there were only 2 different levels / classes!! Hence students with different levels were grouped in one class together. This does not help anybody. For some students with a lower level the teaching was too fast and the ones with an advanced level do not really improve their knowledge because they always have to wait until the teacher explained to the lower level ones.

My mother `s home is very nice! It `s called Violet Benros. She cooks very well and my room was clean and clear. It `s pretty far from downtown and the beach, but it takes 10 minutes to get al` ecole. Thank you very much!
