Study & Live in your Teacher's Home’s home tuition programme in Tenerife will allow you the chance to learn Spanish while living with your teacher in this sunny Spanish paradise in the Canarian Islands. You will take a total of 15 lessons every week, and these classes can be focused on specialist subjects of your choice, or even based on preparing for university or the workplace. A key feature of living with your host teacher and their family is that you have access to an immersive environment, enabling you to learn the Spanish language and Canarian culture even more quickly.

There are some potentially important differences between the north and the south of Tenerife, with the south being characterised by a large expat population and an extensive tourism and entertainment environment - while the north tends to be more rural and inhabited by life-long Tenerife locals (with some exceptions). No matter which side of the island you live in during your Spanish studies, you’ll have interesting lifestyle options to consider, which might include surfing in Taganana or Los Cristianos, or hiking in Anaga or the Teide National Park. If nightlife is what you’re looking for, then Puerto de la Cruz and the majority of the south of Tenerife will meet your needs.

Madrid is the ideal location for students taking Study & Live in your Teacher's Home’s home tuition Spanish course, not just for being the capital, but also due to the wide range of activities that can be undertaken here to complement your studies. This is a city that is used to welcoming people from all over the world, and this means that as a foreigner learning Spanish, you will feel at home much more quickly than in some other Spanish cities.

You will take 15 hours of lessons every week in your teacher’s home, where you will have your own room and a place to study. Since this is a full board experience, your host family will provide your three meals every day - which is an excellent opportunity to sit down together and have a conversation in Spanish.

Lavapies is fast becoming the city’s hub for trendy hipster hangouts, while Gran Via and Callao provide Madrid with its commercial centre, both of which feature historical curiosities at every turn.

The cooking school is closed in August.

The Photo Walks program includes 2 weekly routes (approximately 3-4 hours each) with a guide. It combines the Intensive 20 course with 1 guided photo walk per week, accompanied by a local photographer. The group size is limited to 1 or 2 students.

The excursions involve a photographic stroll through the city, capturing its iconic places and discovering hidden spots in the Albaicín or Sacromonte with new perspectives. While having a reflex camera is beneficial, it is not required. Participants will receive a handbook on landscape photography and composition.

Designed for professionals looking for a fast and effective way to improve their language skills. The programme consists of 20 Spanish lessons in mini-group (1-3 students), 5 Spanish culture and conversation workshops and 5 private lessons per week. It also includes coffee breaks & daily lunch with the teacher or other professionals.
