Language Gap Year Courses to Learn Japanese in Tokyo from ¥16,264 for 1 Week

Reviews by former students who attended a Language Year (6-12 months) course in Tokyo

The facilities were not too terrible.
This school looks amazing but there were many things about this school that destroyed my experience of living in Japan for the first time and going to the school.
If you are looking for a school that you can learn well with great peers, kind staff and useful Japanese this is NOT the place!
First off the English representative office staff member, Ellena was the rudest person I have met. She honestly does not care about the students’ well-being and only cares about the schools numbers and tells you over exaggerated lies to get you to come to the school. I had to miss some days of school due to personal reasons which were explained to her, not only did she have no sympathy but continued to harass me, insulted my ability to speak my native language and told me I'm ruining my future which was none of her business.
Teachers will treat you like a child, taking your phone away in every class, interrogating you about an absence you've already reported. There are many students from countries like Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Vietnam etc. that just come to Japan on a student visa to work and send money back to their home country. This means they don't care at all about class and will talk and be noisy the whole time. For 6 months my classes were like this.
They do not cover speaking Japanese at all so even though students move on to the final level many can't even speak or you can't understand their Japanese.
I really would like to warn you about this school, there are fake reviews about this school and there are better places to choose. Don't add stress to your new life in Japan.
