Q&A - Questions about Greek courses and schools in Greece

My son wants to go to Athens from Turkey for a Greek language course. Do you help to get a student visa?
Please be informed that once the full payment for the course reservation is made, the Greek school of your choice will provide the necessary documentation required to proceed with the visa application. However, I must clarify that we do not offer assistance with visa matters.

It is advisable to contact the Greek consulate or embassy in Turkey for detailed information on the student visa process and requirements. They will be able to guide you through the application steps and provide the most accurate and up-to-date advice.

Is there any school in Greece that organises courses for adults aged 20-30?
At the moment, all our partner schools accept adult students of all ages but in Hellenic Language School Alexander the Great in Athens the average age of students is 30 so it is a good option if you are looking to study with your peers.

I would like to know how to select schools according to their size. Only size L schools interest me. How can I do it?
We do not have a filter to classify schools by size.
However, you will find the information for each school in their description: when you look at the list of schools, it is right below the school name.

I want to learn Greek . I understand Greek, but I do not speak well and I have a problem with verbs, and I want to learn how to write.
You should consider joining a General Language Course. These classes are open to everyone and, just like the name says, they are the industry standard, covering a bit of everything: speaking, grammar, vocabulary, reading & listening skills... They are a good choice for students in the lower levels who are still working on establishing a solid linguistic foundation and also for people who want a good, all-round course but who want to have some free time to sight-see too.

Can you study English in Greece?
Yes, you can! At the time of writing, we do have two academies in Athens and Corfu where you can immerse yourself on an English learning experience. Let us know if you are interested and we'll look into further details for you.

Does the Modern Greek course in Corfu include accommodation for the stay?
Standard courses do not include accommodation unless it is a specific Junior or Senior course. Usually schools also offer accommodation options but if they are not of interest to you, you can always opt for just enrolling in the course with the school and an independent accommodation as there is no obligation to book a course + accommodation package.
Antonio Zoppo, Language Travel Consultant from LanguageCourse.Net - Dec 14, 2022
In order to take the Greek course I need the acceptance letter from the school. Can you help me?
In order to receive the letter of acceptance from the school, you must previously formalize the booking on our website and make the required payment, which can range from 30% to 100% of the total fees, depending on the chosen school. This information is shown in the profile of each school, in the section "Visa Documents".
