Languages Canada is born from the combination of CAPLS and CLC, two education associations in Canada. The association is committed to ensuring that English and French taught in Canada is of a high quality so as to make Canada an attractive option for students to choose when opting to study these languages abroad.
| Requirements Languages Canada member schools need to fulfill | Members of Language Canada need to follow this list of requirements in order to be considered:
- the school must abide by the laws and regulations as stated by the local jurisdiction for education centres;
- respect diversity of employees, students and peers;
- students must have access to the terms and conditions of the school at all time;
- a globally recognised scheme must have accredited the school;
- correctly advertise all information regarding the school on their own platforms or through an agency. Any agencies that work with the school must be creditable. |
| Complaint/arbitration procedure offered by Languages Canada | A complaint regarding a member of Language Canada can be emailed to: info@languagescanada.ca. This process should be used as a last resort for issues that cannot be resolved with the member directly. Students and members of Language Canada will be aware of the dispute resolution policy and how to deal with any complaints. |
| Any guarantees for students in case of bankruptcy of a language school associated with Languages Canada | If a member school goes bankrupt, the association will provide an alternative as close as possible to the original in both location and course content. |
