If a pre-teen student is living with their parent, the parent is expected to bring their child to and from school each day. The staff will go through their programme with you so you know what times to meet him/her. Students aged 8 to 11 are not allowed to walk anywhere off site without a member of staff, or with their parent if they are also here. This means that, if your child is living with one of our homestay providers, they must have a daily transfer (at extra cost). Junior students will attend English classes specifically designed for their age group, aimed to improve their spoken and written English through fun and games. This course includes a social activity programme. Students aged 10+ may attend classes unaccompanied but must be picked up and dropped off each day.

Explorer students develop key skills from an early age through communicative activities, contributing to the rapid development of their language recognition and performance. The course is designed to ignite your child’s desire to learn through the initial stages of language learning and to facilitate and increase confidence in skills already gained. A range of class exercises from reading and writing to listening and speaking are used in class through a syllabus which is dependent on the level of the student.
