Programme does not include formal tuition, and placement may be with a host family that does not include a qualified language tutor. Instead, students simply join their host family’s life for the duration of the programme. Each week includes four afternoon excursions and a full-day excursion at the weekend (courses longer than one week duration only).

For those learners who don’t have any particular hurry or urgency when it comes to improving their English, the Classic course offered by InTuition Languages in Montpellier is the best option - with a very manageable 15 hours of lessons per week. In practice, your total exposure to English will be much greater than 15 hours per week, due to the combined factors of living in Montpellier and living with a local homestay family in their home. You can take your learning at your own pace, and perhaps give more of your time to exploring what the surrounding city has to offer.

Your homestay family will provide you with breakfast, lunch and dinner - something that will save you time, and also create the opportunity for you to sit down together and have a chat in French about life, French culture, or just the weather.
