Everyone was helpful and friendly. The teachers were fantastic.
I loved the school, the teaching and the staff. I would have much preferred to do the Beginner's course full-time. I had two English friends in the UK who didn't come to Denia with me because they could only get 2 weeks off work in the UK and didn't think 3 hours in the morning was enough, so they went to Malaga and did a full-time course instead. I went to Denia because I was told the average age was 60 and being 63 I liked that.

Why Denia? Dénia is a port city on the Mediterranean coast of eastern Spain and is a major passenger port for the fairly nearby Balearic Islands. The old town snuggles up against a small hill which is mounted by an old castle, and the town's streets are buzzing with life and excellent food choices. The beaches to the northwest are big and beautiful, while in the southeast the fretted coastline offers less-frequented rocky coves. With its excellent selection of hotels and restaurants, and a good mixture of local and tourist life, Dénia is perhaps Costa Blanca's most appealing base and offer visitors memorable excursions to the lofty cliffs and a gastronomic scene that's recognised all over Spain.
