What our students said about Marbella
Marbella is not the best place to learn Spanish. Many foreigners live in Marbella, so you are often addressed in English in shops. Marbella has beautiful beaches, a nice old center and a lively entertainment center around the harbor.
Netherlands
Beautiful town, clean, but be careful, delicious food is everywhere, bakeries, ice cream and tapas bars everywhere.
Germany
Have been there several times and think the beach promenade is beautiful.
Austria
Wonderful city! Lots of activities to do and the people are super nice.
Netherlands
Very touristy and nightlife geared toward younger revellers.
Ireland
I have known Marbella for many, many years

Course: Special 10 Course - 3 weeks

The teachers are very nice. If you just want to learn Spanish without building social contacts or network, this is perfect.
Teachers were nice, unfortunately no one thinks about solutions even though you paid them a decent amount.
10 July 2022
Course: Intensive 20 - 3 weeks
Student age: 27 years

Good support from the 2 teachers I met, despite the differences in levels between students. A lot of skill and imagination on their part, creating a good atmosphere. Please pass on my thanks to them.

In October there were only a few students in the school and it was accordingly quiet. I liked that.

Course: Super-Intensive Course - 1 week
Student age: 37 years

The teachers. I had four different teachers in 2 weeks and they were all excellent.
Class sizes were too big as we joined the second week in September. Not much chance to speak. As for value for money, it was almost the same price as if I had gone elsewhere for private lessons.
29 October 2018
Course: Intensive 20 - 2 weeks
Student age: 66 years

The best thing about the school was that you never felt uncomfortable or nervous in the classroom.
No, not really

25 July 2016
Course: Intensive Course - 2 weeks
Student age: 60 years

The teachers (very very kind), the location (close to the apartment and to the beach+city centre)
The secretaries are not very informative, plus the school charges extra money for late arrival to your apartment (after 8 p.m.) which is not fair.
12 July 2016
Course: Intensive Course - 3 weeks
Student age: 33 years

The teachers
The school is not set up for meeting and getting to know other students, as there were no common meals, coffee breaks (with free coffee) or other promotion of joint outings.
16 November 2015
Course: Intensive 20 - 2 weeks
Student age: 67 years

Small groups, lessons are in Spanish, teachers are engaged
The course book is structured. At the beginning, a placement test with a short interview is performed. Wg is simple. The excursion program of the school is very expensive.
28 October 2014
Course: Intensive 20 - 1 week
Student age: 28 years

The friendly teachers and staff.
Most of the students were too young. The classes were too crowded, the classrooms too small, the air-conditioning was too bad! But the teachers and staff were very friendly and sympathetic.
