Pays de la Loire is a western region in the country of France. The River Loire runs through its centre and exits into the Bay of Biscay along its coastline. The capital city of Pays de la Loire, Nantes, is found on the banks of the river. The Arts Museum of Nantes, Château des ducs de Bretagne and Les Machines de l'Île are excellent attractions to explore when visiting the city. The theme park of Puy du Fou is a historical amusement park in the South of the region.
