Why Honolulu? Honolulu means 'protected bay', which aptly describes the calm, deepwater harbour that borders it. The city is today a sophisticated hub of business, politics, education, entertainment and the Hawaian art. Honolulu´s most popular neighborhood, Waikiki, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Hawaiian Islands for ”fun in the sun" and the spirit of aloha is easily revealed by the local residents.

I love the people who work there, the activities and the great location.
My accommodation was great. I stayed in an 8-person female dorm room in Waikiki Beachside Hostel. At first I thought that would be crowded but later I was happy to choose that. Hostel was great and clean, you have a kitchen and bathroom in the room and you share it with at most 7 other people. It was a great opportunity to meet more people and practice English. And also it was a great walk by the beach from hostel to the school everyday. I saw lots of rainbows :)

Very centrally located, kindness of the staff, partially very good teachers.
In part, poor structure of the classes, in the higher levels (core600) over 70% of the students were German-speaking which was tedious.

The proximity to the beach and the friendliness of the staff.
The level of education was too low and I could not switch to another class because I was already in the highest level (600). I should add that I have difficulty learning languages.
