What language school directors said about Honolulu

Adam Liss

Hawaii is an adventure that many students have been waiting their whole lives to experience. This bucket-list destination is called the Aloha State because Hawaii welcomes visitors of all ages and backgrounds and showcases beautiful white sand beaches, scenic mountain slopes, colorful marine life, historic and iconic landmarks, and summer weather year round. According to US Smart Asset, Hawaii is ranked #2 as the safest state in the U.S. Hawaii has low crime rates, healthy outdoor lifestyle and aloha spirit!

Honolulu English School

I love the people who work there, the activities and the great location.
My accommodation was great. I stayed in an 8-person female dorm room in Waikiki Beachside Hostel. At first I thought that would be crowded but later I was happy to choose that. Hostel was great and clean, you have a kitchen and bathroom in the room and you share it with at most 7 other people. It was a great opportunity to meet more people and practice English. And also it was a great walk by the beach from hostel to the school everyday. I saw lots of rainbows :)

  • The Global Village Hawaii (average age in summer: 23 years, rest of the year: 26 years) or the Honolulu English School (average age in summer: 21 years, rest of the year: 25 years) are particularly suitable for you. These are the two schools with a fairly balanced distribution of nationalities compared to Central Pacific College, which mainly has Japanese over 30 students. Language trips to Hawaii are particularly popular with students from Japan and Switzerland, but other countries such as Italy, Korea, Germany and Brazil are also well represented.
