Ravenna ratings & opinions
How our students rated their experience in Ravenna
What our students said about Ravenna
I was travelling alone as a woman. I always felt safe and comfortable, no matter where or when. Ravenna is a beautiful city of manageable size with very friendly inhabitants. It's a relaxed, young city that's still not loud. What's SUPER about Ravenna is the cycle traffic! You definitely need an old bike here. And thanks to a great network of cycle paths, you can get all over Ravenna. The number one means of transport. You can cycle to the sea in Punta Marina Terme in 3/4 of an hour. Emilia Romagna is beautiful.
Very lively, very friendly locals, great restaurants, beautiful city centre, everything within walking distance. Excursions in the surrounding area are sometimes only possible with a hire car.
Beautiful, lively city, very impressive mosaics, the surrounding area is beautiful to a certain extent, but travelling by public transport is very limited at weekends.
Ravenna is a very nice town with some beautiful places to visit, particularly to see the mosaics and beautiful buildings.
Nice, not too big with friendly people. We were a bit unlucky that 2 weeks (not only in Ravenna) were very cold.
Very good, not a very big city, calm, no traffic in the city center. Much to see, interesting history.
A city with extraordinarily impressive and fascinating works of art. Manageable and pleasant.
Ravenna is a small nice place with lot of interesting, historical and beautiful places.
A city full of life, safe, beautiful, clean and with lots of activities to do.
Ideal location for a language course, not as crowded as Bologna, for example.

The direct city centre location was great, the surrounding cafés could be visited during the break. And it was also possible to stroll around the city after school. Lessons in small groups were very nice... you are automatically encouraged to work together. Great, friendly and committed teachers. The café right next to the school is also very cosy.

Organisation, teachers
Well organised but a bit old school, typical Italian way of teaching.
