Viareggio ratings & reviews

What our students said about Viareggio

It is a seaside resort with a long beach with many lidos. Public beach is a little farther but easily reachable by bike. Lots of bars and restaurants and a good nightlife. Very convenient location to visit the area by train. It is possible to quickly reach Lucca, Pisa, Cinqueterre and even Florence. Viareggio is very flat. Renting a bicycle is ideal for going around.

3.0Annick England UK

Beautiful Italian town, with beach and park and bike paths, good shopping, weekly market. There are also good transport connections by train to other Tuscan cities.

4.0Ursula Germany

Very pleasant, as it's right by the sea. That's why I've been there several times. Unfortunately my car was broken into. Therefore only two stars for safety.

5.0Ursula Germany

A quiet seaside town with its own character, which really blossoms on holidays & in high summer. Beautiful streets with oleander avenues.

4.0Helga Germany

Great place to visit, a little expensive and the streets and park are littered with paper and dog poop.

4.0Lizbeth

I expected more from this place. Good starting point for city tours like Pisa, Lucca, Firenze.

3.0Barbara Germany

It is lovely, the people nice, but the sea was very dirty

5.0Nicolas Italy

Thanks, it was amazing. I will come back.

Centro Puccini

Administration were very helpful when I had additional requests. The town is a great location and the school is also well located. I had three teachers and two of them were good and engaging. The school provides cheaper access to a lido, which is good. You can also rent a bike at a cheap price, which was very good.
A decent school in a good location.
