What our students said about Sestri Levante
The city is quite small (20,000-22,000 inhabitants) and cozy. You probably read about the two bays in other reviews :) Also, there is a railway along the coast, which makes it possible to go from Sestri Levante to other cities for a walk or on an excursion, ше very convenient.
Sestri is a beautiful place by the sea with a small, very well-kept old town. Many facades are beautifully painted as if they were stucco. Easy to explore on foot, too. The shops (clothes) are high-priced and nice to look at.
Sestri Levante has a very nice location. I liked the size and location. We hiked a bit, there were lots of places to swim and there were bars on the beach for a snack or a drink. I really liked it there.
Would do it again in a heartbeat. Really the weather was good last week that also plays a role. Playa seleste was nice and quiet and friendly.
The main attraction of the city for me was that it is partly situated on a headland, with beaches on both sides within easy walking distance.
Nice little town with picturesque centre, great beach access and beautiful location of the school in a bay. Short distances to train and bus.
A great, lively, well-kept city. Very touristy. But very friendly. You usually eat well everywhere. The two beaches are great.
Picturesque old town with beautiful coloured houses, more touristy during the season than I imagined.
Very nicely located, good food, very good for strolling, you get everything you need here.
Very pretty small town with great old town and nice excursion possibilities
What language school directors said about Sestri Levante

Sestri Levante is a colourful town on the Riviera Ligure. The Bay of Silence is considered one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Italy. It is perfect to have a language orientated travel for those who want to study Italian and have a holiday in Italy: food, panoramic walking in the surroundings and famous places like Cinque Terre help to make it an unforgettable experience.
Most recent student reviews of language schools in Sestri Levante

The staff are all excellent teachers and good at explaining things in Italian. The classes are well structured. The teaching materials are well designed. The less formal afternoon sessions are both fun and instructive. The location, right on the beach, is idyllic. The Director, Monica, is very helpful.

It is located in the beach, with a beautiful view of the bay! Also right in the city! The teachers and staff were so nice, so competent, so skilled at teaching! It was really a warm and welcoming place. I was just there for a week, but everyone remembered my name and made me feel so welcome!
