What our students said about Milazzo (Sicily)

It's just a village and has nothing to do with cities like Catania or Palermo. If you're looking for nightlife and hustle and bustle or lots of sights, you've come to the wrong place. Apart from the castle and the Capo, there isn't much else. But if you are looking for a quiet and picturesque village with a certain morbid charm, you've come to the right place. If necessary, the Lipari islands can also be reached by ferry in just under an hour. There is virtually no ‘German spoken’ here and English is not widely spoken. If you come here, you are also in the right place in Italy. In my opinion, it is ideal for a language holiday. One more tip: if you come here, don't be afraid of calories. Canolli, cassata and co. are even worse than they look :-))) One more thing about the sea: I've rarely seen such clean water! Even though dozens of ferries pass by every day and there is an industrial harbour nearby. And the Capo is definitely worth a visit! But don't forget sturdy shoes.

4.0Peter

Due to its location on the peninsula, the sea is never far away, and the beach is very beautiful, partly because of the view of the Lipari Islands. There are a couple of cultural highlights, but you are not overwhelmed by them. Perfect for a holiday with a language course, for a holiday without anything to do it might be boring. Public transport connections are available, but if you often want to go on excursions to Palermo or Catania etc., it is a bit of a hassle. On the other hand, there is little international tourism, which I liked.

5.0Christoph Germany

Fine. It is a small city so it doesn't have lots of traffic, or theatres and such. However, as a place to go for study it's great. On time off there are great places to eat. (Bomboloni are fantastic!) You can get to Aeolian Islands and other places easily.

5.0Corina England UK

Ideal for people who - like me - like cities that are not too big, not overcrowded with tourists, crowds of visitors, but full of charming corners, quiet and good as a base for tourist destinations.

5.0Alicja Poland

Milazzo is very beautiful, especially the long beaches. I was impressed by the incredible friendliness of the people towards my dog. That alone is a reason to come back!

5.0Ursula Germany

It was a pleasant surprise for me. The town was clean and the beach was clean. I felt safe when I was walking home alone at night.

5.0AKIKO Japan

I liked the small, non-touristy feel, that it was not a big city, calm, safe and clean at that time of year.

5.0Dianne Australia

A very good choice, a quiet town. The opportunity to visit the nearby Aeolian islands, a pleasant beach.

The location is very good. About 10 minutes from the ferry port on the edge of the city centre. Some classrooms are very well equipped (large smart screen). The others are normal classrooms. Cultural activities are offered (sometimes for an extra charge). For example, I took part in a pasta course. Handmade orecchiette and parmiggiana! I'm beginning to suspect where the two-kilo weight gain is coming from...

I was blown away by the commitment and kindness of the faculty and staff. I have been to other language schools where excursions and classes were cancelled due to low enrolment. NOT HERE! There were no hidden fees like other places. Regardless of my slow retention, I was made to feel special and the patience was HIGH. Their knowledge and how to communicate it was done with grace and joy. The student apartment was one floor above school, and it had all the convenances you would want, including a washing machine. I was here in the winter and I could still walk around the town in t-shirt and jeans. Moreso, as a woman, I felt safe. I made friends that I will be seeing beyond the course time.

The evaluations by students after they complete a course is excellent. The discount for using your website is also a great incentive. It also would be wonderful if the website would include more cities and a bigger selection of schools in each city.

The service of languagecourse.net is great, I booked already 3 schools and I can highly recommend it. In fact, I tell everybody I meet on my journey in South America about this website and how well everything is organized.
Gabriele Ragger verified client
I am very satisfied. I found more/relevant information on your webpage than on the school's website itself. It is the cheapest offer. I'm going to book my next course on your site soon.

Your service was excellent, really following up and holding my hand.! My older step-brother used your service a few years ago to study Spanish in Salamanca and Granada and we found LanguageCourse.Net so helpful then as well.

Just keep up the good work. The organization is excellent, so that even less experienced travellers would feel ok to come to China. I also felt really good in the host family, they were really great!
