In the North of Spain, set on the coast of the Bay of Biscay and touching the border with France, is the Basque Country. The region has its own unique language, Basque, which has been around before the Romance languages. Bilbao is the capital city and sits just inland from the coast, in the North West of the province. Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Museum of Fine Arts of Bilbao and Azkuna Zentroa are important cultural attractions in this city. Beach of La Concha, San Telmo Museum and Zurriola beach can all be found in the resort town of San Sebastian. The town is to the East of the Basque Country, close to its eastern frontier.
